Pet hair works its way deep into carpet pile and upholstery, where a lint roller or a vacuum just glides over the top of it. The Coathaus Sofa & Carpet Fur Rake pulls it back out. Drag the fine copper edge across the surface in short strokes and embedded fur lifts up and gathers into a pile you can pick off in one piece.
-
Copper raking edge — twin coiled copper bars catch the woven-in hair that brushes and rollers slide over
-
Sprung stainless steel frame — keeps the edge pressed against the surface as you pull, and will not rust
-
ABS and rubber handle — ergonomic grip, light in the hand, with a hanging hole on the end
-
Manual, nothing to replace — no batteries, no charging, no sticky sheets or refills to buy
-
Compact — about 14 cm wide and 17 cm long, small enough for a drawer or a car door pocket
Use it on: couches and sofas, plush and short-pile carpet, rugs, car mats and seats, upholstered chairs, pet beds, cat trees and stair runners.
Not for: knitted or delicate fabric, wool, cashmere, soft knit sweaters or clothing — the copper edge is built to grip a dense weave, not loose knit.
How to use: short, quick strokes, always working from a few different directions to gather the hair into one pile. Hold the handle close to upright for a light pass, or tilt it lower for more pressure on a stubborn patch. Lift the pile off by hand and pull any loose hair from the copper edge.
Pairs well with the Coathaus Deshedding Glove — groom the pet, then rake the couch they sit on.
