We want you and your pet to love your Coathaus order. If you don't, you have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to make it right.
How to start a return
Email us at support@coathaus.com with your order number and a short note about what went wrong. A real person reads every message and replies within one business day.
Most of the time, you keep the item
Shipping a grooming glove back across the Atlantic costs more than the glove. So in most cases we simply refund you and ask you to keep or donate the item — no return shipping, no packaging, no trip to the post office.
If we do need the item back for a particular reason, we will tell you clearly and we will cover the return shipping ourselves.
Damaged, defective or wrong item
Please check your order when it arrives. If it is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, email support@coathaus.com within 7 days with a photo. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, whichever you prefer, at no cost to you.
Items we can't refund
- Gift cards
- Items bought more than 30 days ago
- Items marked "final sale" at the time of purchase
Everything else is covered. If you are unsure, just ask us before you buy.
Exchanges
The fastest way to swap an item is to email us and place a new order. We will process the refund on the original as soon as we have agreed the exchange, so you are never out of pocket twice.
Refunds
Once your refund is approved you will be paid back to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Your bank or card issuer may take a few extra days to post it. If more than 15 business days have passed since we told you the refund was approved and you still have not seen the money, email support@coathaus.com and we will chase it with you.
Cancelling an order
Email us as soon as you can. We can normally cancel before the order leaves the warehouse. Once it has shipped, the 30-day guarantee above applies instead.
European customers
If you are shopping from the EU or the UK, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, for any reason and without giving one. That right sits alongside our 30-day guarantee, which is more generous.
